Eternal Security

When individuals accept Christ as their Savior, they enter a relationship with God that assures their eternal security. Jude 24 states, "To Him who can keep you from falling and to present you before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy."

Our eternal security is based on God's power to sustain us, not on our efforts to maintain salvation. Jesus affirmed this in John 10:28-29: "I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand."

Both the Father and the Son hold us firmly in their grasp—this unbreakable bond is a testament to the depth of their love for us. Who could separate us from that love?

Ephesians 4:30 tells believers that they are not just secure but 'sealed for the day of redemption.' This sealing is not conditional on our actions but on God's promise. If eternal security were not absolute, this sealing would only last until we sinned or fell away. John 3:15-16 assures us that all who believe in Christ will 'have eternal life.' If eternal life could be revoked, it would never be truly eternal.

The strongest support for eternal security is found in Romans 8:38-39: "For I am convinced that neither death nor life... will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Our eternal security is not a result of our efforts, but it rests in the unshakable love of God, purchased by Christ, promised by the Father, and sealed by the Holy Spirit.
